ABOUT Interiors by Donna Terry
Artfully designed interiors form the basis for my work. I like to create living compositions for my clients characterized by:
• a palette of colors that speak volumes whether loud or soft
• a pleasing selection and arrangement of furniture with proper proportions for living and working comfortably
• textiles that suit the space and one's lifestyle
• window treatment designs that either complement a beautiful view or create one where there is none
• custom designed lighting,
flooring and rugs
• custom designed furniture, built-ins and metal work when desired or
needed
Donna
Terry's designs have been published in Window Fashions Design Magazine and
soon to be published in Windows and Walls Magazine (of Better
Homes &
Gardens.) She is the Interior Design Expert for the Northshore Magazine
and writes about different Interior Design subjects in each issue. She
teaches the Fundamentals of Interior Design course at the North Shore
Community College. She was a contributing consultant on HGTV's Kitchen
Design and Bed & Bath Design. She also participated in the Tara
Drive Showhouse supported by the Boston Design Center.
Donna Terry studied the art of set design at State University of New York at Binghamton,, where she holds a B.A. in Theatre Arts and Sociology. She holds an International Graduate Degree from the University of Stockholm, Sweden, where she studied Media, Film, and Photography.
